I started Paranoia Software to do a bit of freelancing, streaming, and to maybe release some small games while I'm studying at Breda University of Applied Sciences. Oh yeah, and tutoring too! I obviously haven't released any commercial games yet however I'm confident that I know a thing or two about programming by now.
Cash aside, I just love making games. The goal is to eventually transition into a proper gamedev studio that actually respects the player and their right to own their stuff. (I'm side-eyeing a lot of companies right now. You know who you are.)
Also! This website is obviously not done. I plan on adding little tabs to house my blog and past works in one place, a bootleg portfolio perhaps? We'll see!
And now to give you a taste of my past work and the type of stuff that I am to do at Paranoia in the future:
Tracer was my university intake game. I ended up tryharding it and spentalmost 5 months making it because I had nothing better to do with my life. As a result I got something that I'm a bit proud of.
I should really open-source it, but I am too lazy to do it right now... It's nothing astronomically impressive - I used C++20, SDL3, and some other goodies. It was pretty good practice for writing a game engine!
You can view the playthrough of the game here.
